Fresh Smoked Mozzarella Nodini
Fresh Smoked Mozzarella Nodini is a soft, stretchy Italian style cheese with added smokiness to enhance its natural milky flavor. "Nodini" means "small knots" in Italian, and each piece has been kneaded from fresh curd in water, stretched and tied to create these unique knot-like shapes. They are also smoked to impart the cheese with a woodsy flavor and tan color. Delicious by themselves, they can also be added to cheeseboards for a uniquely Mediterranean twist, or to salads, paninis and other dishes.
Our smoked Mozzarella is created by Mimmo's Mozzarella, an Italian shop and cafe in Miami, Florida. Their specialty is fresh cheese, particularly traditional-style mozzarella, which is specially made to order so you receive only the newest, freshest product. Orders have a 2-3 day lead time, and should be stored in the refrigerator for no more than 1-2 weeks.
Ingredients: Milk, skim milk, milk fat, vinegar, enzymes, water, natural hickory smoke flavor, molasses, caramel color.
