English Clotted Cream
This gorgeously smooth, creamy Clotted Cream is an English classic treat that we like to spread on everything – especially scones, muffins and fresh fruit. It's essential for an authentic 5 o'clock tea and of course a must-have for English-style tea with cream.
Sweet and silky clotted Cream is made by heating the milk in a water bath and then cooling slowly, which allows the cream to rise, “clotting” at the top. It has a minimum of 55% fat content – think thick and rich, almost butter. Serve it with pancakes, angel food cake, hot biscuits, ice creams and anywhere you want to add rich, sweet flavor. Also ideal to add it to a gourmet gift basket for the Anglophile foodie friend!
Refrigerate after opening and use within 5 days of opening.
