Italian Black Truffle Paste
When we want to add the flavor of truffles to a dish but fresh truffles are just not on the menu (or on the budget), we always turn to this fabulous Plantin Italian truffle paste.
Truffle paste is made by blending fresh black truffles with fine olive oil, a bit of truffle juice for a more intense flavor, plus some truffle aroma to intensify the whole experience. The chunky spread is heady with truffle flavor and aroma, and it’s also super versatile.
Add it to sauces, pasta dishes and risottos for an intense touch of truffle taste. Spread it on grilled and roasted meats for a sublime combination, or use it as part of a “truffle marinade”. We also love it mixed with a bit of decadent cream cheese, then spread of crostini or a baguette for a superb appetizer.
Our Italian Black Truffle Paste is made by one of the biggest names in truffles, Plantin. Located in beautiful Provence, the heart of truffle country, Plantin has been selling fresh truffles and truffle products since 1930.
