Sockeye Salmon, Wild Caught

By far one of the most popular fish in the United States, salmon is loved for its rich and buttery texture, its mild flavor, and its pretty pink flesh! While there are several varieties of salmon commonly found in North America, one of our favorites is Sockeye or Red Salmon. Leaner than the King (Chinook) variety, Sockeye is also a lot more flavorful! Highly prized for its bright red flesh, its bold flavor, and its aromatic qualities, the Sockeye is the type of salmon true fish lovers and epicures reach for.

Significantly smaller than other varieties, Sockeye usually ranges in size from five or six pounds but can be found as large as fifteen pounds. Our Sockeye salmon sides are available in 2.5lb portions ready to be split into individual fillets. Or, if looking for something even more convenient, we also sell pre-portioned and sliced 6-ounce fillets. An economical choice, Sockeye is not only a delicious option but an affordable one, meaning you can easily add it to your regular dinner rotation without fear of breaking the bank.

Skin on, our salmon is ready to be thrown straight into the pan or onto the grill for a fast and delicious meal. We recommend placing them on a hot well-oiled grill, brushed on both sides with just a kiss of mayonnaise and seasoned with nothing more than salt and pepper.
