This goat cheese with paprika is made using raw goat’s milk that is blended with smoked paprika from La Vera which gives this delicious cheese its distinctive Spanish flavor and vibrant natural coloring.
Buenalba cures this delightful cheese for 4-6 months in order for the smoked paprika flavor to infuse. Paprika from La Vera differs from other paprika as it is gently smoked for 15 days, giving it a deep smoky-spicy flavor that pairs exquisitely with sweet, milky, artisan tang of the goat cheese.
Full of flavor, you don’t need to much to enjoy this wonderful cheese - simply serve it with some crusty bread, or make a bold statement on a cheese board. Its Spanish flavors are greatly complemented with a glass of refreshing Spanish white wine like Albarino.
Our unique goat cheese with paprika comes from the Alvarez family who come from La Mancha and have been running Buenalba for 4 generations. This family of cheese makers shepherd the animals themselves to ensure the freshest, finest quality cheeses possible.
Ingredients: Raw goat and sheep milk, salt, rennet, lactic ferments, egg lysozyme and paprika.
