Sheep Milk Cheese with Saffron
We’re obsessed with the presentation of this incredible sheep’s milk cheese from Spain, little cubes of a Manchego-like cheese infused with threads fine Karkom La Mancha saffron, and cured for 4 to six months to fully develop the flavors.
La Mancha saffron is a coveted spice – the most prized in the world. This flavorful and colorful spice is injected into the raw sheep’s milk, the intensity of the saffron fully infusing the cheese with a characteristic flavor and vibrant color, yet the buttery texture of the sheep’s milk still beautifully shining through, melting on the tongue.
This cheese is shelf stable and packaged in a cute little jar, already cubed into the perfect little morsels. Pair it with Serrano ham, or chunky slices of chorizo, on top of some crusty bread or hearty crackers.
