Dulce de Leche Caramel Ice Cream RecipeIngredients 1 ½ cup dulce de leche1 ¼ cups milk, warm½ tsp. vanilla extract1 ¼ cups whipped cream4 oz. for garnishing1 cup light brown sugar1/4 cup water1/2 cup heavy cream4 tbsp. butter1/2 teaspoon sea saltDirectionsPut the dulce the leche in a bowl, add the milk and mix with a wooden spoon until the dulce de leche is dissolved. Add the vanilla extract and slowly mix with the whipped cream.Our mix into ice cream maker and follow the machine’s instructions.Keep it in the freezer until ready to serve.For the Caramel Sauce: Boil the sugar and water in a medium saucepan or pot. Do not stir the mixture, only move the pot, swirling around a little to mix. When the sugar turns into golden color remove from heat.Add cream and butter and stir constantly with a wooden spoon until everything is mixed and there are no bubbles. Add sea salt and reserve until warm.
