Saint Nectaire Laitier

A popular French cheese from the region of Auvergne, Saint-Nectaire has a purplish-grayish rind with uneven textured grain. The interior is elastic and smooth, mild and with an acidic tang to it, and an aftertaste of spices and nuts. Very full-bodied and complex overall, Saint-Nectaire has a distinct aroma, reminiscent of mold , straw and humidity. A strong, interesting, delicious cheese.
Ingredients: Pasteurized cow's milk, salt, lactic ferments, rennet.

Not as good as a raw milk Saint Nectaire (that you cannot get in USA) but pretty tasty for a pasteurized milk one. Would recommend in you're craving for this cheese.
