Lamb Merguez Sausage
The Merguez is a sausage of North African origin, and by far one of our most popular! It blends the deep and hearty flavors of lamb meat with exotic and aromatic spices like Moroccan Harissa and cumin, spicy cayenne pepper cutting in with just the right amount of heat, and warm cinnamon. Grill this Chateau Royal sausage and serve with your favorite side, like polenta or couscous. Merguez is also an excellent choice for stuffing lamb, it adds great flavor to a Bolognese sauce, and makes for an incredible ragout.
Chateau Royal has kept charcuterie in the family since 1988 . They have an in-house Swiss trained chef that’s reinventing charcuterie with game and gourmet meats, combining them with all-natural ingredients to craft flavorful, delicious sausages.
Ingredients: Lamb, Beef (beef cheek meat, beef), water, salt, carrot powder (carrot powder and 2% silicon dioxide), sugar, paprika, spices and spice extracts, garlic powder, onion powder, dextrose, stuffed in a natural pork casing.
