Extra Large Empty Escargot Shells

Makes for a great presentation but to much work. Will stick with my ceramic dish.

All shells came intact, no chips or shatters. What can I say, they worked great for the escargot!

Plenty of room for the escargot and lots of garlic/parsley butter.

My husband ordered these so that I could make him escargot. Apparently here in Pennsylvania you can't get escargot in shells. This is very upsetting to my Frenchman. So he asked me if I was up to the task of preparing old-school escargot at home. Of course I was up to it! We received the shells, I boiled them and dried them and they were perfect little houses for all that buttery goodness and those little snail nuggets of happiness! After we finished, I reboiled the shells, cleaned them out, boiled them again, dried them and now they are waiting for the next go round! Excellent product and the shipping and service is very fast!
