Venison Sausages with Blueberry and Merlot

When good old-fashioned bratwursts just won't do, try these sausages with a touch of rustic class. Rich, lean venison from Canadian red deer is seasoned with herbs and sweet-tart blueberries, soaked in Merlot and wrapped in a casing to create a hearty and sophisticated sausage. It can be grilled like a bratwurst, pan-fried for extra crispiness, or added to casseroles, soups, pastas and jambalayas.

This product is made by Chateau Royal, a family-owned company that has specialized in the production of artisanal charcuterie since 1988.
