The main event is just around the corner, and we’re all gearing up for our Thanksgiving dinners. The best table settings are taken out and ironed, the best bottles of wines are chilled to the right temperature, the best of friends and family are invited, and of course, the best Thanksgiving menu is dreamed up and the very best ingredients purchased. Thanksgiving is a celebration of gratitude, but for chefs and bakers it’s also a great way to showcase their skills in the kitchen, and to take out the proverbial “big guns”.

This year, our Thanksgiving menu is all about glamour and elegance, taking home cooked favorites and giving them a twist of luxury. We let our creativity go wild and our Thanksgiving menu is full of great ideas that marry fresh ingredients with luxurious twists. Fresh black truffles, creamy Italian Mozarella burrata cheese, potatoes crusted with rosemary and sea salt, plus desserts that ooze decadence. This is a time to let go of all culinary inhibitions and really feast, so don’t hold back!

Thanksgiving Sides

Polenta Fingers With Gorgonzola Cream Dressing

Thanksgiving Side Recipe Polenta Fngers

Hearty and simple polenta is reinvented into a sophisticated side once it’s crusted with panko. The mild flavors of polenta are perfect to pair with stronger flavors like intense Gorgonzola. This bold blue cheese is blended with cream and cream cheese for an absolute decadent dressing.

Rosemary and Sea Salt Roasted Potatoes Recipe

Thanksgiving Side Rosemary Potatoes

Following the theme of simple ingredients turned luxe, we took humble potatoes, wedged them, gave them a turn on fragrant Rosemary and bright sea salt and baked them until they formed a perfectly golden and crispy crust. The simple yet fabulous flavor pairs well with any meat – especially a juicy Thanksgiving turkey.

Thanksgiving Desserts

Salt and Caramel Pecan Pie Recipe

Thanksgiving Appetizer Pecan Pie

This to-die-for dessert is loaded with meaty pecans and then drowned in luscious caramel topping. We gave it a finish with flaky sea salt for a fabulous contrast of saltiness and an added crunch. Take it with pride to any Thanksgiving potluck dinner or serve it at home for dessert.

Chocolate-Dipped Candied Orange Strips

Thanksgiving Appetizer Recipe Orange Rind

This bonus dessert is perfect to serve with after-dinner coffee. Citrusy and tart orange strips are caramelized in sugar and then dipped in fine bittersweet baking chocolate. Serve them with a cup of espresso or a mug of tea as you let the evening wind down.
