Denemon Tamari - Tamari Soy Sauce, Gluten Free
Wheat free, this very special aged Tamari is made from 100% Japanese raised soybeans and cedar-aged sea salt. All the ingredients used to create Ito Shoten’s Tamari are sourced locally within Japan. Aged in cedar casks for three years this specialty condiment takes on the thick viscosity of barrel aged balsamic. With a beautifully complex flavor profile you’ll pick up notes of caramel and smoke along with deep umami highlights of taste.
Perfectly balanced this Tamari is much less salty than others allowing its true flavors to shine their brightest. To maintain its balance and taste, we recommend avoiding heat and instead; reserving it as a dipping sauce or finishing glaze perfect for brushing onto fish and meats.
This many-layered Tamari from Ito Shoten boasts a complexity and richness that is unequaled. Full bodied and beautifully balanced, it is both smoky, sweet, and salty. Bold yet delicate, you’ll find yourself drizzling it on everything. From meats and fish to vegetables and beyond, this very special Japanese condiment is one you’ll want to have on hand at all times.
